Christina Cook
Co-Founder and Director

Christina is an educator, UX designer and web developer. She is also currently co-directing Spectra. She co-founded Spectra 3 years ago and has grown Spectra into an annual, all-women and non-binary non-profit hackathon located in the Bay Area. She co-directs 10-15 people each year to create a 12-hour, beginner friendly event for women and non-binary to learn new skills, listen to workshops, and build projects. When not directing Spectra, she strives to empower girls, women and people of color to find their passion in STEM and spends her time teaching and mentoring kids and adults about math and computer science. Christina holds a BS in Cognitive Science specializing in Design and Interaction from University of California, San Diego.
